Holiday Special Packages Pty Ltd (and HSP Travel) is a private business proudly owned and operated by two generations of the Anderson family. Based in Adelaide and founded 2003, it is an accredited member of the TCF (Travel Compensation Fund), AFTA (Australian Federation of Travel Agents) and a Licenced Travel Agent, trading at both wholesale and retail levels of the travel industry. We are best known for the creation of popular short-uration domestic holiday packages, marketed under the OPUS™ Holidays and TravelAunt™ brand names. These packages consolidate all-inclusive 5 and 4-night superior quality accommodation, most meals, airport transfers, and highlight day-tours/cruises of consistently keen value and reliability excellence. Added features provide Bonus Night Offers, optional Extra Nights and day- Tours, flexible Itineraries, and customised Group travel plans of exceptional value. Measured by volume, these two brand packages have grown to modestly become the major specialist provider to this sector of the domestic travel industry.
Wholesale
From Industry requests to make its packages available to Travel Agents, in 2008 HSP introduced its range of OPUS™ Destination Discovery, Family, Short-break, and Honeymoon packages to domestic and NZ Travel Agents. Agents are supported with quality brochure material, online and phone booking facilities, newsletter updates, consumer advertising, and policies which recognise the prime role Agents play in the distribution chain, their special client relationships, and the partnership they represent in our affairs.
Retail
Complementary to our short-duration packages, we distribute APT™ (Australian Pacific Touring) and Travelmarvel™ brand extended-touring and small-group 4WD packages. As ancillary services for our retail clients, travel insurance and domestic airline bookings are offered as they relate to package sales.
