Cook Islands Honeymoon at Pacific Resort Rarotonga
Visit Rarotonga >>
The boutique Pacific Resort Rarotonga is located in one of the world’s most beautiful spots and is an ideal honeymoon location. The place has a special magic and the fact that many people who visit return here again and again indicates just how spellbinding it is.
Rarotonga is the main island in the group of 15 islands that make up the Cook Islands. The international airport is there and it is the seat of government as well as being the major hub of commerce and tourism.
The Cook Islands have no buildings higher than the tallest coconut palm which means there are no high-rises to spoil the view. Combine that with the friendly people and lovely tropical climate and you will realise why people say it has such a relaxing atmosphere.
The resort is set practically on beautiful Muri Beach with its palm-fringed white sand on the edge of a safe lagoon, and is situated in lush tropical gardens with views to the lagoon in front and the mountains behind. The resort blends modern comfort with traditional island hospitality and the accommodation has authentic Polynesian architecture.
Your honeymoon package is all inclusive so you don’t have to worry how big your final bill is going to be. It includes return transfers to and from Rarotonga Airport, 7 nights accommodation, and all your meals as well as special extras such as a complimentary upgrade to the next available room category, and a bottle of sparkling wine, flowers and a fruit platter in your room when you arrive.
You can dine right on the beach at the Sandals Restaurant and the Barefoot Bar, or you can eat in the courtyard. The food is excellent and uses lots of fresh ingredients. Breakfast gives the option of an island breakfast buffet or fully cooked a la carte breakfast, there is a 2 course lunch daily and a 3 course dinner daily.
There are plenty of things to do but no-one will disturb you if you want to simply relax. The lagoon is the perfect location for swimming, snorkelling, diving, sunbathing, sailing, kayaking and windsurfing. There are organised tours you can join in such as a Garden Tour which provides insight into the wonderful plants and flowers, and there are fun group lessons where you can learn cultural skills at the Beach Hut.
Whatever you do you will never forget your dream honeymoon at Pacific Resort Rarotonga, and hopefully you will get a chance to return for another holiday.
