The island has lots of birdlife and there are well-maintained bushwalking tracks to get you around the island. You can find plenty of small bays and inlets to explore, and it is worthwhile getting to the top of one of the hills on the island where you will get a wonderful view. The highest hill is Mount Jeffreys at 194 metres which is 3.5 km from the resort along a walking trail. You have 360 degree views from here across the island and the surrounding ocean.
The resort has daily activities which include bird feeding and fish feeding. Flocks of colourful lorikeets come to the bird tree for food, and many tame tropical fish come to the daily fish feeding. You will get plenty of great photo opportunities at both of these events.
The resort has a 9 hole golf course, swimming pool, waterfall spa, gymnasium, floodlit tennis courts, volleyball, archery, catamarans and paddleskis, and all non-motorised equipment and golf is free, although there is a nominal charge for golf and tennis balls.
On top of that you can expect to spend time bushwalking, swimming, snorkelling, exploring, and lazing on the beaches. For the more adventurous there is paraflying, dinghy hire, scuba diving, waterskiing, jet skis and daily trips to the Outer Reef platform, plus you have a champagne sunset cruise to enjoy as part of your package.
